WORKERS COMPENSATION
Due to changes to the Privacy Act (August 2024) and due to changes to the Workers Compensation Act 2023, as of the 1st of July 2024, our current guidelines for all Workers Compensation patients are as follows;
PROGRESS CERTIFICATES / RETURN TO WORK PLANS
As a Workers Compensation patient, it is recommended that you have your own specified Workcover Doctor and/or treating physician to help manage all Workcover Progress Certificates, Return to Work Plans and Medical Reports that may be required.
CASE Conferences
Mr Keogh no longer accepts Case Conferences therefor all Insurance Workers, Rehabilitation Providers, Physiotherapists and any other third parties are no longer able to join in on consultations with Mr Keogh and Workers Compensation patients.
DICTATION LETTERS / PATIENT INFORMATION
Mr Keogh dictates a consultation letter after each appointment which is sent directly to the patient's specified Insurer, Workcover Doctor, Referrer and usual General Practitioner. We are no longer able to send consultation letters or any documentation including medical history or patient information to third parties involved such as Rehabilitation Workers or Physiotherapists. If these third parties require patient information documentation, they can request it from either the Insurer or the patient directly.
