PRIVATE PATIENT FEES
We are a private practice therefore payment in full is required on the day of service. The fee structure is as follows in accordance with the schedule published by the Australia Medical Association:
Initial Consultations: $240.00 (Medicare Rebate: $81.30)
Subsequent Consultations: $120.00 (Medicare Rebate: $40.85)
Once the account is paid in full and providing, we hold a valid referral, our team will process a Medicare Claim on your behalf.
Payment Methods: We have EFTPOS facilities in our clinic and accept Visa / MasterCard. We do not accept AMEX/Diners cards.
DVA Gold card holders will be billed directly to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Surgery Fees
Mr Keogh is not a preferred provider with any health fund and charges according to the AMA Schedule Fees. If you require surgery, an out of pocket cost (gap) will apply. Prior to you undergoing surgery, our rooms will provide you with an estimate of surgical fees. Operations have differing costs depending upon the type and complexity of the procedure. As such, we are unable to provide you with an estimate of fees until after you have discussed the intended surgery in your consultation with Mr Keogh.
Please be advised, providing this estimate of fees may not be possible in emergency situations.
Cancellation fee
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call the rooms on 08 9489 8784. A cancellation fee of $55 will be charged if less than 24 hours notice is given when cancelling an appointment.
